Wow! We have a herd of 14 Roosevelt Elk that have become almost daily (or, nightly) visitors at the Lodge! This year there are 2 multi pronged bulls leading 12 cows (and some are juveniles). Our guests have been getting a great show at dawn and dusk! Today they were in the front yard at 8 AM – great for viewing! They only come down off the hills in the winter to feed on our nice green grass by the river! While we can’t guarantee you’ll see them, we’ve been seeing them on a regular basis for the past few
weeks!
