Kingfisher Room

Kingfisher is a smaller upstairs room in the main Lodge. It has a slanted roof line with a large skylight. On a rainy night gently drift off to sleep as the rain patters on the skylight window. This room has a Queen bed and private bath with the original 1947 tub (and shower). There are two chairs under the skylight for reading or relaxing in front of a small electric fireplace. And yes, we often see kingfishers down by the river. Look for them in the alder trees right on the river’s edge or listen for their rattle-like call.

Important information: Second floor room in the lodge with stair access only from inside the main lodge.  Maximum of 2 people in this room.

Rate includes a three-course home-made breakfast for two and wine/snack time each afternoon.
