Kingfisher Room
Kingfisher is a smaller upstairs room in the main Lodge. It has a slanted roof line with a large skylight. On a rainy night gently drift off to sleep as the rain patters on the skylight window. This room has a Queen bed and private bath with the original 1947 tub (and shower). There are two chairs under the skylight for reading or relaxing in front of an electric fireplace. And yes, we often see kingfishers down by the river. Look for them in the alder trees right on the river’s edge or listen for their rattle-like call.
